Steps for Using AttorneyView

  1. As a reporter, open ASOne and start a session as normal
  2. On your keyboard, press CTRL + Shift + ? to open the Attorney Streamer Invite modal. You will see a place to enter the Attorney’s email address. Enter their email address. You will now see their email in the list, along with a passcode and status.

  3. Click the copy icon next to the passcode to copy the passcode link.
  4. Send this link to the attorney for whom you entered the email address.
The Attorney Will

• Click on this link
• Create an account (email will be pre-filled but editable)
• Choose a password, and
• Click Sign Up
They will be taken directly into the live session.
On the Attorney Streamer invite modal you, the reporter, will see the status change to “connected”.


Method 2 - Email Invite

  1. As a reporter, open ASOne and start a session as normal
  2. On your keyboard, press CTRL + Shift + ? to open the Attorney Streamer Invite modal. You will see a place to enter the Attorney’s email address. Enter their email address. You will now see their email in the list, along with a passcode and status.

The Attorney Will
    1. The attorney will receive an email with a login link. 
    2. If they don't see the email in thier inbox, ask them to check their Spam or Junk folders.
    3. Upon clicking the link, they will be taken to the Attorney Streamer Dashboard. They can navigate down to the Recording Sessions tab.

    4. They can click on the current session and be taken directly into the live session.
    5. On the Attorney Streamer invite modal, you, the reporter, will see the status change to “connected”.


Method 3 - Using the Passcode

  1. As a reporter, open ASOne and start a session as normal.
  2. On your keyboard, press CTRL + Shift + ? to open the Attorney Streamer invite modal You will see a place to enter the Attorney’s email address. Enter their email address. You will see their email in the list now, as well as a passcode and status.

  3. Highlight and copy the passcode that was generated for them (not the link). Send this link to the attorney for whom you entered the email address.

The Attorney Will
    1. The attorney should already have an AS Attorney account for this.  If not, they will need to create one.
    2. Tell them to navigate to https://attorney.autoscript.ai/login
    3. They will navigate to the Dashboard page and on the top there is a button that says “Join Session”.

    4. They will click that button and enter the passcode they were given.
    5. It will bring them directly to the live session as normal.
On the Attorney Streamer invite modal you, the reporter, will see the status change to “connected”.
