Reporter's Audio Has Static With Mic Muted
If you are recording a remote session in Reporter Studio Pro and your audio has static in the recording and you notice that when you mute your microphone during the recording that channel one in the recording has a solid audio level line instead of muting, you may need to change a setting for your microphone.
In some systems there is an option under microphone properties that is adding audio enhancements to the microphone that is causing issues the microphones and Reporter Studio Pro.
To disable this, you will want to right-click on the speaker icon in our system tray and select sound settings.
Scroll down in the Sound Settings until you find "More Sound settings" and click on it.
This will open the sound properties window.
Click on the Recording tab and locate your microphone. Highlight it and click on properties.
Click on the Advanced tab and deselect the option for "Enable Audio Enhancements".
