Importing/Exporting Layouts

All transcripts in AutoScript Desktop Editor begin with a completed Layout that includes the template.  You can easily share any of your layouts with another user or receive a layout from one of our product specialists after they create a custom template for you.  

Exporting a Layout

From the "Job" tab, click on "Layouts Library".  This will open the Layouts Library window. 
Highlight the layout you want to export, and click on the export button.  

Select the location to save the layout ZIP file and click on the "Save" button. 
 
You can now send the layout ZIP folder to the intended recipient.  

Importing a Layout

From the "Job" tab in AutoScript Desktop Editor, click on the "Layouts Library" button.  This will open the Layouts Library window. 
Click on the "Import" button. 

Navigate to the location on your computer where the Layout ZIP folder is, highlight it, and click on the "Open" button.

You will now see the new layout listed under your Local layouts on the left side of the window.
