Comica Q4 wireless Microphones with AutoScritOne

Comica Q4 Wireless Microphone System

We have reviewed the Comica Q4 wireless microphones for usage with AutoScriptOne.  Overall the audio quality is quite impressive.  These are wireless lapel mics and one would expect exceptional audio when worn as recommended, but the audio quality when placed 18 to 24 inches away on a tabletop were equally as impressive.   See sample recordings below.

The Comica comes complete with 4 wireless lapel microphones that will safely operate for up to eight hours on a charge.   The bonus is that it comes with a charging/storage case that can extend the battery charge for up to 8 additional hours.  The quick charge from the case allows for easy recharging during a long break.  Just remember to leave the case open to initiate the charging.

The user feedback on the receiver is helpful, displaying the battery life for each transmitter, the volume, and an audio dynamic bar registering levels.

This wireless microphone system comes with plenty of versatility for the reporter who wants set up options.

As a Single mixed feed
This setup will feed all mics as one simple channel of audio to ASOne for a seamless setup using the USB provided cable.

As individual, multi-channel recording
This setup requires you to acquire two 3.5mm TRS-XLR dual heads audio cables plugged into the two 3.5mm audio ports on the side of the receiver and  setting the receiver to the Quad mode using the dual power/mode button.  Connect the XLR plugs to your preferred mixer for connection to ASOne.
