Norton Antivirus Prevents Opening AutoScript Desktop

Norton Antivirus Prevents Opening AutoScript Desktop

PROBLEM: User has an issue where Norton antivirus prevents opening AutoScript Desktop.
SOLUTION: User may need to create an exception for the program in Norton. Information on that feature can be found here: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v3672136
You will have to create exemptions for both of the following folders:
  C:\Users\(your name here)\AppData\Roaming\VoiceScript
  C:\Users\(your name here)\AppData\Local\AutoScriptDesktop

If you haven't done this already, you might see the following screen when you try to open AutoScript Desktop.

If that happens you will need to open Norton Security History, find the entry where it blocked AutoScript Desktop, click "More Options", and click [Exclude Process]. You will still need to follow the directions in the linked Norton article to exclude the AutoScript folders.
