AUTOSCRIPT CAT EXPORT - IMPORTING TO PROCAT

You can create a job in AutoScript using your recorded audio and import the rough-draft transcript with synced audio and reverse steno notes into your ProCat software.

  1. After you have run your job on AutoScript, open it in AutoScript Desktop using the default "Layout".  Please do not make any edits to the transcript.

  1. When asked if you want to apply your own template, select "No".

  2. Click the "Export to CAT" button.

  1. Save to a location where you can find the Zip file.

  1. Open your ProCat program.

  2. Go to the Archive and Retrieval Wizard and select "Restore Fles (Retrieval) and click "Next".

  3. Go and look for the zip file.

  4. Select the zip file.

  5. The RTF and WAV files will appear in the list view.  Click the "Finish" button.
