Importing to Case CATalyst
AUTOSCRIPT CAT EXPORT - IMPORT INTO CASE CATALYST
You can create a job in AutoScript using your recorded audio and import the rough-draft transcript with synched audio and reverse steno notes into your Case CATalyst software.
- After you have run your job on AutoScript, open it in AutoScript Desktop using the default "Layout".
- Click the "Export to CAT" button.
- Save to a location where you can find the Zip file.
- Go to the location where you saved the Zip file and extract it.
- The extracted folder contains the audio
file and an RTF file
- Open Case CATalyst
Go to Import
Select RTF/CRE and click the Browse button
Browse to the extracted Zip folder and select the RTF file
Add it to a briefcase
Go to the Briefcase and open the file
Apply your layout
Associate the audio by going to tools and audio
Associate the audio file
Click Yes
Click on Browse
Go to the location of the extracted zip files and select the audio
And click Yes
