Can I Use the Zoom H6 or the Zoom H8 with AutoScriptOne
The Zoom H6 and Zoom H8 are not directly compatible with AutoScriptOne as an audio interface.
That said, when paired with the Zoom AMS-22 or the Shure x2u it can work. You will need a 3.5mm-to-XLR male audio cable for either to work.
You still get the advantage of the multiple microphone inputs for better capture. When you connect the audio cable to the line-out port on the Zoom H6 or H8, you will receive a mixed-down feed to the AMS-22 or Shure x2u, which converts the analog audio to digital for delivery to your laptop.
