AutoScript Desktop - Release Notes - 1.1.433

The release of version 1.1.433 of AutoScript Desktop included the following:
  1. Bug Fix: a rare bug that occurred when updating the speaker list.
  2. Bug Fix: a rare bug that occurred during CAT Export.
  3. Bug Fix: a very rare startup bug that was only noticed in log files.
  4. Bug Fix: a rare bug that occurred when trying to Save As to a file name that was already open in Word.
  5. Bug Fix: There was a bug where the Header and Footer were excluded from the DOCX file is the playback was allowed to play to the very end and auto-stop. That is fixed
  6. Bug Fix: There was a default setting in ASD layouts that enabled Widow-Orphan control on paragraphs, causing line numbering issues. This has been fixed.
  7. Bug Fix: A rare bug where the Backup function crashed the program.
  8. Bug Fix: It was possible to delete a job you had just opened using the Import Job feature. That is fixed. You are now warned and prevented from doing so.
  1. Feature: The option is not available to press the pedal once to play and press again to pause. By default it is turned off; users will have to enable it.
  2. Feature: We have reduced the frequency of auto saves and backups. There is also better logic driving that timing. Now, if no edits are made after the auto save or backup, the timer doesn't start until the next edit. This should resolve some file corruption issues, as well as prevent backups that only contained errors from being left open overnight.
As always, if you experience any trouble or just need a little help using the program, you can request help using the Request Help link above.
